No matter where you start your journey, the fun begins in Mosca.We are only about 15 minutes north of Alamosa, which is about 72 miles west of Walsenburg by car, following the US-160 W route.
From Denver, you can take I-25 south to Walsenburg. Alternatively, you can travel the scenic route through the mountains by taking US 28 south from Lakewood through Conifer, Fairplay, Saguache to Mosca. This is about 166 miles.
